The following may not be news to some readers of this blog, but I have decided to post it here regardless.

Baronius Press will be publishing a number of important books over the next few months. Among their titles is a newly-typeset four volume Roman Breviary in Latin and English (1962 rubrics). As of March, it was in the proofreading stages. Although the price may be high, I think that it would be a bargain when compared to the sky-rocketing prices that some breviaries fetch on ebay these days.

Among the other titles that will be published are Divine Intimacy by Fr. Gabriel. It seems that the Carmelite monastery in Rome has given Baronius Press it’s permission to be the sole English publisher of this work. It will be most interesting to see how this develops. At the present time, Divine Intimacy is available through TAN Books for $40 in a leatherbound edition with relatively flimsy paper.

Anyway, let us continue to pray for good Catholic books and for the success of Baronius Press.

Our Lady of the Angels, pray for us!
