According to this article, the TLM has made it into Iowa. Around 400 people came to the Mass from miles and miles around.
As I have noted before, not a week goes by without news that the Latin Mass is being celebrated somewhere in the Roman Catholic World. Recently, there’s also been news of Masses being celebrated in Mexico and the United Kingdom. Truly, the MP was a miracle for us.
Yet the appearance of the TLM in the mid-West is important to this author because this is traditionalist territory. Both the SSPX and the CMRI have chapels and churches in these states as well as Bishop Dolan’s St. Gertrude the Great Parish over in Cincinnati. Has the tide turned for the traditional movement? No. Far from it, but we must continue to pray for their reconciliation with the Vatican.
Our Lady of the Angels, pray for us!
St. Michael the Archangel, pray for us!
